Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 29th @ 7PM for the next youth lacrosse meeting. On July 29th we will start the preparations for the 2010 season. We are looking for volunteers to assist us in operating the Northern Rhode Island and Cumberland Youth Lacrosse Associations. We need people to run for board positions and work on committees for both Cumberland Youth Lacrosse and Northern RI Youth Lacrosse. All elected board positions are open on an annual basis.
We ask that you attend our upcoming meeting and offer to assist in any manner such as:

President Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
Director of Games and Registration
Director of Fields and Equipment
Director of Coaching and Referees
· Committee volunteer
Committee volunteer: Games and Registration
Committee volunteer: Fields and Equipment
Committee volunteer: Coaching and Referees
· Team Coach or Assistant Coach
· Website Coordinator
· End of Season Jamboree Coordinator
Don’t be shy or hesitant if you have limited knowledge of lacrosse or have never played. You can learn and be a very effective Board member, administrator, assistant coach or coach. If you want to have input into how the league is run, please attend the meetings. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO CONTINUE TO OFFER YOUTH LACROSSE IN OUR COMMUNITIES!

o Welcome and meeting / objective summary
o Financials report for both CYLAX and NRILAX
o Discussion and nominations for board and general positions (elections in Aug)
o Begin to draft 2010 season budget
Directions:
The Community Room is in the basement of building 2176 Mendon Road in Cumberland. It is the farthest back brick building at this address on Mendon Road. If you look to the right of that building you will see an outside staircase. At the bottom of the staircase you will see the door to the Community Room.
